There are several ways to start groups within LoopMe depending on if your organisation already have an organisational account in LoopMe and also depending on if you are a total beginner on LoopMe or not. Read the alternatives below and follow the guide that matches with you.
If you want to create a group in a new organisation
Maybe you are the first person from your school that starts working with LoopMe? Or maybe you alreade are a member of one or more groups in another organisation and now you want to start your own organisational account and your own groups? Select one of the following guides:
A: Total beginner: create a new group and a new organisation
B: Already a user: create a group in a new organisation
If you want to create a group in an existing organisation
A collegue has alredy started to work with LoopMe and has created an organisational account that you want to join and create your groups within. Select one of the following guides:
C: Total beginner: accept an invitation from your organisation’s LoopMe administrator and create a group in an existing organisation
D: Already a user: create a group in an existing organisation

A. Total beginner: create a new group and a new organisation
- Go to www.loopme.io
- Click Get started
In the pop up menus:
- Click Create group
- Select School
- Choose if you want to design your own tasks and tags or if you want to use a ready-made package. Tasks and tags can be edited when your group is created. Once you have decided on a package, click READ MORE
- Enter your e-mail address
- Click CREATE GROUP
- Enter your first and last name, e-mail address and choose a password.
- Click CREATE USER
Now you have created a personal LoopMe account and can proceed to create your first group.
- Enter a group name
- Choose to create a your group in a New Organisation
- Enter a name for your organisation (Demo organisation in this example)
- Click CREATE GROUP
Now the group is created and you have a number of tasks and tags inserted in your group. Here you can edit the tasks and tags, change group name, role names, invite members and send information and surveys.

B. Already a user: Create a group in a new organisation
- Go to www.loopme.io and log in
- Click the LoopMe logo on top of the page and you will be directed to the start page
- Click on the tab Packages
In the pop-up menu (only visible if you have not already done this setting):
- Choose School
- Choose if you want to design your own tasks and tags or if you want to use a ready-made package. Tasks and tags can be edited when your group is created. Once you have decided on a package, click READ MORE
- Enter a group name
- Choose to create a your group in a New Organisation
- Enter a name for your organisation (Demo organisation in this example)
- ClickCREATE GROUP
- Now the group is created and you have a number of tasks and tags inserted in your group. Here you can edit the tasks and tags, change group name, role names, invite members and send information and surveys.

C: Total beginner: accept an invitation from your organisation’s LoopMe administrator and create a group in an existing organisation
If you are a total beginner at LoopMe and want to create a group that will be connected to an existing organization’s account in LoopMe then you should read this!
Make sure you receive an invitation from the administrator of your organisation’s LoopMe account, and then follow the instructions below.
You have received an e-mail invitation to join an organisation in LoopMe
- Go to your inbox for e-mails
- Click on the link in the e-mail invitation
- Enter your first and last name and a password.
- Click Sign up
Now is your personal LoopMe account created and you are part of the organisation that you were invited to (Demo Organisation, in this example). - Click the LoopMe logo to go to the start page for LoopMe.
From there you can create your first group within the organisation.
- Click Log in
- Click CREATE in the pop up menu
- Choose if you want to design your own tasks and tags or if you want to use a ready-made package. Tasks and tags can be edited when your group is created.
- Once you have decided on a package, click CREATE GROUP
- Enter a group name
- Choose to create a your group in an Existing organisation
- Select your organisation in the dropdown menu
- Click Create group
Now the group is created and you have a number of tasks and tags inserted in your group. Here you can edit the tasks and tags, change group name, role names, invite members and send information and surveys.

D: Already a user: create a group in an existing organisation
If you already have a personal LoopMe account and want to create a group that will be connected to an existing organisation’s account in LoopMe then you should read this!
NOTE: Ask the person who is responsible for the organisation account to give you permission to create groups within the account. When you have received these rights, you can continue with the next step.
- Go to www.loopme.io and log in
- Click the LoopMe logo on top of the page and you will be directed to the start page
- Click on the tab Packages
In the pop-up menu (only visible if you have not already done this setting):
- Choose School
- Choose if you want to design your own tasks and tags or if you want to use a ready-made package. Tasks and tags can be edited when your group is created.
- Once you have decided on a package, click CREATE GROUP

Select your organisation in the dropdown menu

Click Create group
